Rome | Italy

With my airline, I have six reserve days per month. That means that I have to be in base, ready for a phone call and a few hours notice to be at the airport. You can get sent literally ANYWHERE. This weekend, I got sent to Rome! Last time I was there, I was traveling with my family for spring break. While I enjoy exploring new places, I’ve taken a liking to visiting places over again and challenging myself to capture new angles and see something new.

When traveling for pleasure, I try to get up early, before all the other tourists. As a flight attendant, you go when you get there and see as much as you can before you pass out from jet lag and working through the night on the way over. I managed to walk 10 miles in 4 hours after a quick nap and my legs are still complaining about it!
